Impact

With the help of our generous supporters and knowledge partners in the agricultural sector, the Paloma del Carmen Fund significantly impacted over 400 lives in 2018 and 2019, our first two years of operation. We awarded $270,000 worth of disaster relief grants and low-cost microloans to 60 small farms and fishing associations. This aid has created a ripple effect, not only making small businesses more productive and individual lives safer but also strengthening the Puerto Rican economy.

To ensure that awarded grants remain in the Puerto Rico economy and create a multiplier effect, we purchase needed materials directly from local suppliers, which are then delivered to the farms and fishing associations.
